How can I be a popular artist?

I think that this question can be answered by itself. Make 'quality art' and eventually (with time, effort, and perhaps luck as well) you will become popular with the support that the community brings you through it (their 'following', their 'faves', their '5' scores rating...)

@AutisticMan1 Im just gonna stay silent, i do make quality art, but it's ended up like a week or two weeks per art

No one noticed it, only my fans did

@Finasty If as you said, 'no one' has noticed your art (although you have more than '400' fans, wich is a respectable number, so allow me to doubt that, though. I won't consider that number 'no one'...), then perhaps (but not necessarily) there could be some kind of 'problem' related with you as an artist;

'Is your art suitable for everyone, or only for a certain public (Teenager, Mature or maybe Adult)'? 'Are you constant at the time of posting stuff, or do you usually take a while to finally publish something after, for example, two weeks'? And the most important question of all, under my humble opinion, 'will you have the luck enough for having people discovering my art through the rest of the uncountable options of artists in the Art Portal, taking plus in count the non-existent algorithm of NG'?

...Allow me to apology if you misunderstood my words and they made you believe that I underestimated the rough, complex path of becoming an artist and actually growing as one and gaining a public, or maybe if I gave @Simoes1000 the wrong idea of how to become a 'popular artist' (as he asked) by 'sugarcoating' the path as well and painting it all 'pink and pretty' (although that I don't think that I've given to him such a bad answer, but hey, everyone has their own opinion about everything, so I'm not gonna judge you for your 'mindset' towards my response), and besides, allow me to 'reformulate' my previous answer here, for avoiding 'future misunderstandings':

Despite that the question that he made could be actually considered even 'rhetoric' to a certain degree, giving it a proper, clear response is truly more complex than could be appreciated at first sight, because, let's be honest: becoming an artist (of any type) isn't easy at all. It takes a lot of practice, effort, time, patience... and that's only A PART of the path, because the other part is becoming a 'recognized' artist (wich of course, its not obligatory, but if you want to dedicate yourself to it and don't want to leave it just as a simple 'hobby', it is), wich phase is the most important and it could be considered as the most unfair at the same time, because this is where YOUR 'luck' enters, and it doesn't matter if you're an amazing, talented artist; if you don't have the luck of people discovering you, its not like that you are doomed to failure, but it will be much more difficult for you to continue along the path, and that's a fact, unfortunately.

...But anyhow. Let me know if I've left you any doubts with my response. I'll be glad to know them and I'll try my best to answer them as 'fast' and as 'accurately' as possible. I wish you a nice day/afternoon/night o7.

@AutisticMan1 Thanks for all the information you gave me

I already learned that getting recognize is pretty hard to do unless you are always collabs and stuffs, that also has a chance of not getting recognize by other artists bcoz of how many participants are joining the same collabs

I rarely do "T or M" rated art, i mostly do "E" rated art... Well depends on the art i will draw eventually, and for my publish time, depends on art i draw too, for simple 1 character can be just a week, and 2 or more can be up to two weeks, that didn't count of my college that helds me to draw in the morning

Once again, Thank you, i'll keep that in mind
